Animals

Deaths that directly or indirectly involved animals, including animal attacks (e.g., dog bites, livestock incidents, horse-related injuries), collisions with animals (e.g., on roads or railways), zoonotic infections transmitted from animals to humans, and risks arising from the management, handling, or containment of animals. Concerns may also relate to failures in policy, enforcement, or supervision of animal control measures that contributed to unsafe environments and preventable deaths.
