Reports by coroner areas - Preventable Deaths Tracker

As of October 2024, there are 77 coroner areas (jurisdictions) in England and Wales. However, the number of areas is subject to change because of area mergers.

Each area has written a coroners’ Prevention of Future Deaths report (PFD), but this widely varies, with some writing hundreds and others writing few.
